Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. She was also recognized by her debut on television as Eleni Andros cooper in CBS' soap opera Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch included in her film credits. She is reportedly working on a movie adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the team who wrote the movie Immortals. The actress is currently filming the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
