Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford has been an American dancer, actress and singer since the early 1990s. As a young actress, she appeared in Broadway roles, she played in Wicked Legally Blonde Hair. Her performance on stage in You Can't Take It With You as Essie Carmahiel was rewarded with an award for the Tony Award in Best Featured Female Actress in a Play. Annaleigh, Tony Award-winning actress as well as director, has spent the bulk of her career working with well-known directors and actors on stage and screen. Ashford's last part was that of Paula Jones on Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment. It is based upon the nationwide scandal that involved Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky, as well as Linda Tripp. Ashford appeared for two seasons on the CBS popular comedy B Positive. The show was developed by Marco Pennette Chuck Lorre with the famous Linda Lavin Hector Elizondo Ben Vereen.
